Jim D. Haddock

WALTERBORO: Jim D. Haddock, son of Laura Crosby Haddock and the late Willie Haddock Jr., died Saturday evening. He was 56.

Mr. Haddock was born in Walterboro July 18, 1955. He was a tree trimmer with the Island Tree Company in Hilton Head, SC and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Jim D. Haddock, Jr. of Walterboro, and a daughter, Rebecca Smith Blakely of Georgetown. There are two brothers, Michael Haddock of Walterboro and William T. Haddock of Clinton, as well as two sisters, Deborah Lee Haddock of Kansas City, KS and Laura Lynn Haddock of Walterboro. There is one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
