Ronald Lewis Headden, husband of Dorothy Jean Langford Headden, died Friday at the VA Medical Center in Charleston. He was 69.
Mr. Headden was born January 21, 1943 in Indianapolis, IN, a son of Louise Price Headden and the late Foch Fletcher Headden. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a self employed mechanical engineer. He had a compassion for electronics, computers and mechanical design.
Surviving besides his wife of 52 years, and his mother, Louise Price Headden Hilton of Walterboro, are: three sons, William Scott Headden of Walterboro, Richard Steven Headden (Kathy) of Lexington and Alan Stacy Headden (Michelle) of Tega Cay; two brothers, Robert W. Headden of Steamboat Springs, CO and Donald Headden of Mt. Pleasant; a half-brother, Kerry Todd Hilton of New Jersey; a half-sister, Karen Denise Lee of Walterboro; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Sunday at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.
