WALTERBORO: Benjamin Harold "Hoss" Langdale, husband of Inez Fralix Langdale , passed away Wednesday morning, May 2, 2018 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.  He was 81.

Mr.  Langdale was born August 23, 1936, a son of the late Benjamin Heyward "Bennie" Langdale and Hazel Smith Langdale.  He was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by three sisters: Eugenia Horseman (Larry) of Delaware,  Jo Ann Craven "Joe Ben" and Jeanette Craven (Edward), both of Walterboro.  There is a brother, Jervey Langdale (Theresa) of Alabama.  He has two granddaughters, Tammie Fralix Clark of St. George, and Jennifer Fralix Stillinger (John) of Summerville.  There are five great- grandchildlren:   Joey Clark, Hunter Clark and Kalynn Clark all of St. George, and McKenzie Stillinger and Boyd Stillinger of Summerville.  There is one great-great granddaughter, Jordynn Clark of St. George.  He was preceded in death by a son Freddie Fralix, by a sister Naomi Medlin, and by two brothers, Donald and Wilford Langdale.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
