WALTERBORO :  Mrs. Betty Green Long, wife of Roy L. Long, died Tuesday April 13, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  She was 88.

Mrs. Long was born March 1, 1933 in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late James C. Green and Lowrene Jones Green.  She was a retired employee of Asten-Hill Manufacturing Company, and was of the Baptist faith. In earlier years she loved to sew and do needlework.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Janie G. Shultz, and by a nephew, Tony Shultz.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday morning, April 16, 2021 at 11:00 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Walterboro, directed by Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.
