WALTERBORO: Clio Belle McMillan passed away Saturday at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was 85.


Clio was born in Colleton County April 23, 1930 a daughter of the late Johnson Stephen McMillan and Julia Bell Hiers McMillan. She was a member of Carter's Ford Baptist Church, and was a beloved sister, sister-in-law, and aunt who held a special place in the heart of her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Miriam McMillan of Lodge, and by a nephew and niece, Johnny McMillan and Betty Woodward. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John D. McMillan and Stephen McMillan.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Carter's Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 12:00 until the time of services Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carter's Ford Baptist Church.
