MASHAWVILLE :    Mr. D. Kaye Warren, husband of the late Ann Campbell Warren, passed away peacefully at his home in Mashawville in the early morning hours of Monday, September 19, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.  He was 77.

Kaye was born in Charleston March 16, 1945 a son of the late Elah DeWitt Warren and James Hetrick Warren Sr.  He was a long distance truck driver and worked many years for Atlantic Trucking and John Smith Jr. Logging. Kaye loved to spend time outdoors hunting dove, quail and duck, and relished his moments spent boating on the waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

He is survived by his daughter Angela W. "Angi" Warren Cates (Gary) and by three grandchildren: Makaylah B. Cates (Paul), Katalina Mary-Carol Garvalia (Joe), and Kyler Garvalia.  He leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Emary Kaye Warren, Braylan Hay, Mason Garvalia, and Gracelyn Garvalia.  He is survived by his brother James H. Warren Jr., by his sister Joyce W. Dempsey, and by special friends Tony and Michelle Roberts and their children.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Campbell Warren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 5:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends immediately afterwards.
