WALTERBORO: Danny C. LaCasse Sr. passed away at his home on Dorsey Street in Walterboro Saturday morning, under the care of Hospice Care of South Carolina, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 66.

Danny was born in Nashua, NH June 3, 1951 a son of Conrad and Elizabeth Johnson LaCasse. He was a retired truck driver, and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Walterboro.

He is survived by his children: Danny C. LaCasse Jr. of Colorado, and Amy Cook, Laura Galtress, Teresa McCaskey and Glen Byrd, all of Virginia. He leaves behind his companion and caregiver, Joy S. Shock, as well as his siblings: David LaCasse and Judy Petrain of New Hampshire, and Shirley Ricard of North Carolina. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six grandchildren and Ann LaCasse.

A celebration of his life will be held Monday evening, September 25, 2017 at 6:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
