WALTERBORO: Mr. David Alan Gaydon passed away May 13, 2016 at the Pruitt Health Care Center in Walterboro. He was 47.

David was born in Walterboro October 28, 1968 a son of Carolyn Hiott Gaydon and the late James Walker Gaydon. He received a degree in welding from Orangeburg Technical College, and was a former driver for Bishop Forest Products.

In addition to his mother of Walterboro, he is survived by a son, James Alan "Gus" Gaydon of Walterboro, and by three grandchildren, Shawn-Michael, Summer, and James "Gus" Jr. He has two brothers, Jefferson Gaydon of Pensacola, Florida and George T. Gaydon of Walterboro.

David will be interred on the family plot at Zion Baptist Church. Parker-Rhoden Funeral home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
