WALTERBORO :     David Michael Herndon, husband of Connie Mae Sowell Herndon, passed away Tuesday morning, August 4, 2020 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  He was 67.

David was born in Charleston January 7, 1953 a son of the late John Jay Herndon and Blanche Nettles Herndon.  He was a construction worker for AIC Construction.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters Martha Wells, Mary Stroud, and Beula Smoak.  He has two step-sons, Henry and Larry Sowell.

Funeral services will be held privately.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
