WALTERBORO:     Deborah J. Lake passed away Sunday evening, July 30, 2023 at the Colleton Medical Center.  She was born in Walterboro January 13, 1956 a daughter of the late Terry Talent Lake and Patricia Laverne Padgett Lake.  Deborah was a volunteer at the hospital in Walterboro for many years, and she was known for her extensive collection of porcelain dolls.  She loved to read, was an excellent cook, and was a devoted sister.

She is survived by her brother, Chris Lake (Becky) of Walterboro, and by her sister, Terri Christenes (Lee) of Traverse City, Michigan.  There are a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a time and date to be announced later by Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro.
