COTTAGEVILLE: Mr. Delmer Ray Rowe,Sr., a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and a former Bailiff for Colleton County, passed away Thursday evening at the White Oak Nursing Center in Waxhaw, NC under Hospice Palliative Care. He was the husband of Margaret Ann Youmans Rowe and was 80.


Mr. Rowe was born January 14, 1937 in Warsaw, GA and was a son of the late Bartow Preston Rowe and Idell Deal Rowe.


Surviving besides his wife is a son, Delmer Ray Rowe, Jr of Sherwood, AR, a daughter, Diane Rhoades and husband Michael of Waxhaw, NC, two brothers, Jimmy Rowe and Ricky Rowe, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cottageville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to funeral service.
