ISLANDTON: Denise Porter Sineath, age 65, of Islandton, SC entered into eternal rest Sunday morning at the Hampton Regional Medical Center in Hampton, SC after a long and courageous battle with cancer and other serious illnesses.

She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 36 years, John Charles "J.C." Sineath, Jr. of the home; a step-daughter, Stacie Sineath Vanier (Dwight) of Stonewell, LA; a sister, Derilla Porter Edwards (Ricky) of Greer, SC; an uncle, William P. "Bill" Lazar of Spartanburg, SC; a first cousin, Dimples Lazar Howell of Greer, SC; six nieces and one nephew and their twelve children; and a host of special cousins and cherished friends, all of whom brought her much joy and love.

She was formerly married to Harold Kenneth Davis, originally of Walhalla, SC. She treasured the memories shared with his family and appreciated their many kindnesses during her life.

The family is at the home in Islandton, SC.

Visitation will be held at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street, Walterboro, SC from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening December 13, 2016.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday morning December 14, 2016 at 11:00 at Rice Patch Christian Church, 15246 Sniders Highway, Islandton, SC. Pallbearers will be her nephews and great-nephew.
