LODGE: Mr. John Derrell Fisk, husband of the late Beverly Hiers Fisk, passed away Friday evening, April 14, 2023 at the Pruitt Healthcare Center in Walterboro after a period of declining health.  He was 86.

Mr. Fisk was born in Colleton County April 28, 1936 a son of the late Brantley and Viola McMillan Fisk.  He retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas after thirty-four years of dedicated service, and was a member of Carter's Ford Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister Beverly Sterner of Columbia, and by his brother Gordon Fisk (Shirley)of Florence.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Breland.  There are a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 at the Ehrhardt Cemetery.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
