Lloyd Donald "Donnie" Daugherty, husband of the late Lori Hiott, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston at the age of 62.

Born in Walterboro, Donnie was known for his kind heart, steady presence, and deep love for his family and friends. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially time spent fishing on the Edisto River. He was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and took great pride in cheering them on. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the quiet way he showed care to those around him.

Donnie is survived by his son, Ethan Lloyd Daugherty, along with extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Donnie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
