WALTERBORO: Mrs. Doris J. Fraser, wife of Fred L. Fraser, passed away Thursday afternoon at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.
Mrs. Fraser was born in Walterboro February 27, 1944 a daughter of the late Thomas P. Jennings Sr. and Letha Dell Crosby Jennings. She was a retired bookkeeper with Sky City, and was a member of Bedon Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband of fifty-one years, she is survived by her sons: Terry Fraser of Walterboro, Freddie Fraser (Dawn) of Round O, and Chuck Fraser of Walterboro. She has one sister, Letha Ramsey of Walterboro, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She leaves behind a sister-in-law, Helen Jennings. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Dora Pena, Thomas P. Jennings Jr., Virgil Jennings, Reginald Jennings and Jimmy Jennings.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
