Obituary

GOOSE CREEK: Mrs. Dorothy Mae Infinger Clark McDaniel, widow of both the late John Wesley Clark and the late Charles Edward McDaniel, passed away Monday evening at the Summerville Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 85.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Harleyville, SC October 26, 1930 a daughter of the late Clyde Lee Infinger and Blanche Ellen Mizzell Infinger. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was very artistic, was a wonderful cook, and loved to work outdoors in her beautiful garden.

She is survived by her daughters: Diane Clark Hardy (J.C.), of Walterboro, (Ret. MSGT USAF) Joyce M. Clark (Ralph), of Summerville, and Linda Clark Stanfield Koehler (Dick) of Goose Creek. There are twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Mrs. McDaniel also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Sue Smith Clark of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a son, John Charles Clark Sr. She is also survived by her siblings, Ray Pickney Infinger of Greenwood, and Thelma Infinger Patillo of Summerville.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
