WALTERBORO: Mr. Dov Gottesman, husband of Mariana Olteanu Gottesman, passed away Thursday morning at the Trident Medical Center in Charleston. He was 78.

Mr. Gottesman was born in Bucharest, Romania November 25, 1937 a son of the late Simha Gottesman and Hannah Smilovitz Gottesman. He received his Masters Degree from The University of Politehnica of Bucharest and was a retired Chemical Engineer. He was a member of Temple Mt. Sinai in Walterboro.

In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he is survived by a daughter, Carmela Gottesman of Walterboro.


Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon, July 29, 2016 at 3:00 at the Live Oak Cemetery in Walterboro.
