ROUND O:     Edward Charles Delaney II, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Ed", passed away late Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025 at the Trident Medical Center in  Charleston after a brief illness.  He was 71.

Ed was born in Camp Lejeune, NC June 24, 1954, a son of the late Richard and Evelyn Seigler Delaney.  He was an iron worker by trade, but was known throughout the area as a dedicated employee of Lowcountry Office Supply for many years, before retiring from Pioneer Boats.  He possessed an outgoing personality and always greeted people with his trademark grin.  Ed loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and going to bike rallies across the country, and he was also an active member of the Walterboro Dart League.  He attended Bedon Baptist Church.

Ed is survived by his son Eddie Delaney (Keeley Farris), of Cottageville.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday evening, January 13, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
