He was formerly a graphic designer for the Press and Standard Newspaper, and was a simple, kind and easy-going man. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-children who loved him like a father: Shane Fralin and Bryan Fralin (Sarah). There are two step-grandchildren: Anne and Katrina Fralin. Ed has five sisters: Priscilla Craven, Jane Beach, Kathy Daw (Jimmy), Linda Hiers, and Brenda Craven. He is also survived by his wife's siblings who loved him like a brother: Terry Campbell, Allan Beach, Chuck Beach, Melodie Hayes, Denise Catterton, and Jodi Maguire. He leaves behind his mother-in-law Lou Beach, and was preceded in death by his father-in-law Harold Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his memory to the National Endowment for The Arts at www.arts.gov/about/donate.
