Round O :     Mrs. Erie Patterson Dodd, wife of the late John Hood Dodd, passed away Monday evening, December 16, 2019 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  She was 88.

Mrs. Dodd was born in Johnston, SC December 4, 1931 a daughter of the late Vannie Lee Patterson and Evelyn Scott Patterson.  She worked with her husband as his bookkeeper at the Round O Milling Company for many years, and she was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School.  She was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her children, Christopher P. Dodd of North Charleston and Ann Elizabeth Dodd of Round O.  She has a sister, Frances P. Holston of Atlanta, and her brother in law and sister-in-law Boyd and Harriett Dodd of Round O.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Fox Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 at the funeral home.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
