WALTERBORO :    Mrs. Faye Crosby Ulmer Bond passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wilson, NC.  She was 104.

Mrs. Bond was born in Colleton County April 22, 1917 a daughter of the late James and Florence Varn Crosby.  She was a retired storekeeper, and was the oldest member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was widowed twice…first by the late Foch Ulmer…and secondly by the late Donald Edward Bond.  She is survived by her brother, Coy Crosby and his wife Eve Gunter Crosby of Wilson, NC and by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery, and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
