ROUND O :                Frances Sondra "Ollie" Appleby passed away at her home Saturday under hospice care.  She was 66.

Frances was born in New York City December 30, 1951 a daughter of the late Edgar and Alessandra Cheney Appleby.  She was a devoted Christian who centered her life around Christ, and she loved the natural world he created…especially his beautiful birds.

She is survived by her sister-in-Christ Carole Bratcher Simpson, and by her brothers and sisters:  Kate Lamdin, Anne Appleby, Wesley Simpson, Steven Simpson, Pat Simpson, Joyce Simpson, Judy Wicker and Angela Davy.  She leaves behind a special aunt, Anne Zinsser, and she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ward Appleby and Mark Gene Simpson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Walterboro.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 at the funeral home.
