WALTERBORO : Mrs. Frances Driggers Cothran, wife of Tommy Cothran, passed away at her home Sunday morning, January 5, 2020 surrounded by her family under the care of Agape Hospice. She was 69.
Mrs. Cothran was born in Savannah, GA October 21, 1950 a daughter of the late Clyde and Gertrude Fisk Driggers. She was a retired merchandiser for News America Markerting, and was a member of Bedon Baptist Church. She was devoted wife and mother, and she possessed a compassionate heart. She enjoyed being around people, and she loved everyone.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her son Marion Cothran and his wife Ana. There are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro, with entombment following in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 that morning at the funeral home.
