WALTERBORO: Mr. Freddie Gadsden, a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away Saturday at the Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro. He was 91.
Mr. Gadsden was born in Charleston, SC on March 10, 1925, a son of the late John Gadsden and Etta William Gadsden. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving is a nephew, Bernard Dawson of Vallejo, CA.
Funeral services were held at Beaufort National Cemetery on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016.
