WALTERBORO:      Mrs. Glenda Fay Robertson Craven, wife of the late Charles T. Craven, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, November 28, 2025 at Pruitt Healthcare Center in Walterboro after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 67.

Glenda was born in Colleton County April 2,1958 a daughter of William Boyd Robertson and the late Helen Brown Adams.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life as a homemaker, ensuring the needs of her family were always placed before her own.  She possessed an outgoing personality and loved talking with her friends and having her hair and nails done at the salon.  She will truly be missed.

She is survived by her children Patty Craven Walling (Floyd), Crystal Marie Craven Lights (Jacob), and William Charles Craven (Ashley).  She was loved by her four grandchildren Joshua Walling, Nicholas Walling, Bradley Craven and Hailey Craven, and by her great grandchildren Weston and Hudson.  Glenda leaves behind her siblings Sherrie Robertson, Brenda Thomas, Melissa Olaru (Adrian), Timmy Robertson (Pam), and Barbara Coffin (Carl).

The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the Pruitt Healthcare Center in Walterboro...and to Pruitt Hospice...for the care and attention they gave to Mrs. Craven during her illness and passing.  The nurses, doctors, and staff went above and beyond expectations as they ministered to her, and to her family.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2025 at 2:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in Craven's Rose Garden Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street is in charge of arrangements.
