NORTH CHARLESTON : Mr. Gregory A. "Greg" Moore, husband of Tammy Whiteley Moore, passed away early Sunday Morning, October 31, 2021 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was 69.
Greg was born in Hemingway, SC December 31, 1951 a son of Elenora Marsh Moore and the late Kenneth Lee Moore Sr. He and his wife were the proud owners and operators of Moore's Auto Sales, Inc. in Ladson, and he was a member of the National Independent Auto Dealers Association (NIADA). Greg was a kindhearted and giving man, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was active in his community, and was a tireless supporter of the Stratford Knights.
In addition to his wife of twenty-one years Tammy, and his mother Elenora M. Miles, Greg is survived by three daughters: Lauren A. Moore, April A. Wyndham, and Veronica K. Rivera (Manny). There are two grandchildren, Sophia and Manny Rivera, as well as three brothers, Kenneth, Ricky (Kathy), and Gaylon (Debra) Moore. He leaves behind his in-laws Harold and Judy Whiteley.
A celebration of Greg's life will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Greg's memory to the American Cancer Society.
