WALTERBORO: Gwendolyn Irene Owens passed away Tuesday evening at her home in Walterboro. She was 54.

Gwendolyn was born in Bethesda, MD September 13, 1962 a daughter of the late Grover Foster Owens Sr. and Gertrude Glover Owens. She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother, loved to read books, and was a gifted artist.

She is survived by her daughter Amanda Davidson of Round O, and by her brother, Grover Foster Owens Jr. of Goose Creek. She has three grandchildren: Emily Irene Davidson, Kira Marie Davidson, and Charles Tristan Edward Davidson. She leaves behind a nephew, Christopher Owens of Charleston, and two aunts, Gwendolyn and Rae Glover of North Carolina.
