COTTAGEVILLE:     Mr. Harold P. Hoff, a lifetime resident of Cottageville, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Harold was born in Colleton County on March 26, 1932.  He was a long-time member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cottageville.  Harold was a retired employee of Westvaco Paper Mill in Charleston.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Margaret Hoff, and by his son Timothy A. Hoff.

He loved working in his garden and always planted enough to give away to his family, friends and neighbors.

Surviving are his daughter, Nell Rose Worden (Hank) of Cottageville, a half-brother, Walter Robinston Jr. (Rachel), along with five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday morning, March 19, 2026 at 11:00 in the Jordan Cemetery.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro, is in charge of arrangements.
