WALTERBORO :  Mrs. Janet Price Colson, wife of the late Owen Colson Jr, passed away Monday morning, November 23, 2020 at the Carlyle Senior Care in Aiken, SC.  She was 76.

Janet was born in Parsons, WV on June 12, 1944, the only daughter of the late Woodrow Price and Dorothy Coffman Price.  Mrs. Colson met Owen Jr., while working in Washington, D.C.  They met on a blind date and married three years later.  She, along with her husband, owned and operated Colson's Quick Mart on Sidney's Road for many years.  She also worked for Walterboro Family Practice for over 10 years.

Mrs. Colson is survived by her children:  Sons Ronnie Colson (Laura) of Greenville  and Donny Colson (Lane) of Walterboro and her daughter, Christina Colson of Greenville, SC.   Grandchildren include Dalton Colson, Jackson and Jacob Colson.    She also is survived by her younger brother, Michael Price of Parsons, WV.

A private, graveside service will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
