ROUND O :     Mrs. Janice Marshall Creswell, widow of the late George A. Creswell Jr., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, June 9, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center.  She was 81.

Janice was born in Freeport, NY March 29, 1940 a daughter of the late James and Dorothy Smith Marshall.  She worked for many years as a riveter in the production of B1 Bombers.  She loved her family dearly, and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Gail Hamchuk, and by a daughter-in-law Donna Murphy.  There are eight grandchildren:  Jennifer Murphy, Justine Murphy, Samantha Knapp, Melissa Adkins, Vita Murphy, Alexandria Murphy, Brandon Hamchuk and Megan Hamchuk.  There are four great-grandchildren: Zachary Aloysius Knapp, Isabelle Marie Knapp, Connor Hamchuk, and Riley Hamchuk.  There are a host of beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Murphy, and by her beloved husband George, who passed away this past April.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
