RUFFIN: Janie Louise Crosby passed away at the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center December 18, 2016. She was born in Colleton County May 15, 1927. Janie Louise was a current resident of The Methodist Oaks and enjoyed the years she spent there.
Louise was the daughter of the late Eddie and Bessie Hudson. She was predeceased by her husband James W. Crosby and her brothers Franklin Hudson, Ewell Hudson, Neil Hudson, Kim Hudson and cousin Harold Crosby (Nina) She loved her family members including nephews Kim Hudson, Steve Hudson, George Hudson , David Hudson; nieces Brenda Murdaugh and Debra Crosby; sister-in-laws Mary Lee Hudson, and Reba Crosby.
In addition she was close to cousins Doris Reeves, Mary Taylor, Robert D. Axson (Judy), Kay Johnson (Watson) Libbi Myers (Pat), and Jean Parker She had many other family members that were dear to her heart.
Louise was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Ruffin, SC. She loved and was active in the Bethel and Ruffin communities. Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements. Services will be held at Bethel United Methodist church, at 3 o'clock on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service. A private interment will precede visitation.
