COTTAGEVILLE :     Mrs. Jeannette Griffith Agosti, widow of the late John Agosti, passed away Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro after a brief illness.  She was 81.

Jeannette was born in Lake City, SC October 31, 1941 a daughter of the late Madison Howell Griffith and Lillian Floyd Griffith.  She graduated from Cottageville High School, and later enrolled in the nursing program at the Medical University of South Carolina.  Jeannette spent the majority of her life as a Homemaker, and was a devoted caregiver for her mother for eight years before she passed in 2012.  She loved to travel, and enjoyed shopping….more often than not just browsing instead of buying anything.  She will truly be missed.

She is survived by her sons Jay Buddin (Christy) and Todd Buddin (Tracey) of Summerville.  There are four grandchildren:   Jack, Madison, Griff and Drew Buddin.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Jeannette was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Griffith Young.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023 at 11:00, at the Cottageville United Methodist Church, with burial following in the Cottageville Cemetery.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
