Obituary

Mrs. Jean Ann "Jeannie" Healey Reeves, wife of Anthony "Tony" Reeves, passed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Monday March 8, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  She was 58.

Jeannie was born February 22, 1963 in the U.S. Air Force Hospital at Larson Air Base in Washington State, a daughter of the late Edward W. and Katie Stevens Healey.  She grew up in North Charleston and attended Stall High School, before briefly attending the University of South Carolina.  Jeannie spent most of her career as an automotive service advisor at Palmetto Ford in Charleston.  She was an avid Gamecock Fan, loved to cook and watch cooking shows, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Tony of their home near Cottageville, and was a mother of three: Katie Ann Healey (Shawn Buchanan), David A. Reeves (Kayti Thorn), and Benjamin W. Reeves (Inglish).  She was "Granny Jean" to one grandson, Gabriel Reeves.  Jeannie is survived by one sister, Teresa Wheat (Jimmy) of Cottageville, by one brother Daniel Healey (Dana) of Summerville, by two nieces Kelly and Robin Black, and by several great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother James Healey, and by a sister Karen Hill.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday morning, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 at the Fox Cemetery near Cottageville.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
