WALTERBORO :     Mrs. Johnnie Neal Shearouse, wife of Jeff Shearhouse, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Colleton Medical Center from complications of Pneumonia.  She was 50.

Johnnie was born October 8, 1969 in Walterboro a daughter of Vera McMillan Neal and the late John Thomas Neal Jr.  She was a 1987 graduate of John C. Calhoun Academy, where she was Valedictorian.  Johnnie was a very bright and smart woman who will be dearly missed, and she touched everyone's lives in unforgettable ways.  In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her daughters Hannah and Mary Amanda Shearouse.  She has a sister Sally Neal, a granddaughter Scarlett Harris, and her loving extended family and friends.

According to her wishes, and in consideration of the situation that exists with the coronavirus pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Live Oak Cemetery.  The family appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers offered at this time.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
