WALTERBORO :      Joseph Wayne "Jo Jo" Breland, husband of Kim Fosnaught Breland, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 26, 2019 under the care of Amedysis Hospice, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, with his family by his side.  He was 58.

Jo Jo was bowrn in North Charleston February 2, 1961 a son of Gruber Herbert Breland and the late Rose Marie Jeffords Breland.  He was a talented woodworker, having constructed many of the docks and seawalls on Kiawah Island and the Isle of Palms.  He was a devoted husband and father, and loved spending time with his family and friends playing music and enjoying life in the backyard.

In addition to his wife of the home, and his father of Charleston, he is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Ty Weber (Randy) and Devin Leigh Breland of Walterboro.  There are four brothers and one sister.  He was eagerly expecting his first granddaughter in September, Everleigh Lane.

The family will receive friends during a time of remembrance and celebration on Tuesday evening, July 2, 2019 beginning at 6:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
