WALTERBORO:     Joseph "Jody Love" Evans passed away Tuesday evening, March 3, 2026 at the Trident Medical Center in Charleston at the age of 52.  He was born in Walterboro September 12, 1973 a son of Lou Wanna Hickman Warren and the late Joe Evans.  For many years he was a dedicated employee of Floyd Painting, Inc. until his health no longer permitted it.  He loved to spend time outdoors…especially fishing, and was a devoted son, brother, father and grandfather.

In addition to his mother, and his step-father Vince Warren, "Jody Love" is survived by his children C.J., Justin, Taylor and Haley Evans.  He leaves behind a brother, William Evans, and his grandchildren John and Callie Evans, and Kohen Cook.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers Timmy and Jason Evans, and by his grandson Kylin Evans.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday morning, March 7, 2026 at 10:00 at the family cemetery on Stanley Hill.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
