WALTERBORO:     Joshua Todd Edwards, son of Roger and Vicky Edwards Walker, passed away Thursday evening, January 30, 2025 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro at the age of 35.

Joshua, or "Slim" as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was born in Walterboro February 12, 1989.  He attended Walterboro High School, and was a brick mason by trade.  Joshua adored his children, and loved spending time and making memories with them…as well as with the rest of his family.  He enjoyed fishing, and was an accomplished singer and songwriter.  His music can be found on YouTube under "JayDean".   He was a devoted father, son, brother and friend and was loved by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children Londyn Edwards and mother Kayla Needham, and Cassius Edwards and mother Alexa Hunt.  He has two brothers, Christopher Walker (Gissella), and Michael Edwards (Amanda).  He leaves behind two special nieces, Stella Grace Walker and Brooklyn Edwards, his uncles Jimmy Walker and Will Walker (Lynn), and his aunts Annette Harley, Inez Edwards (Marty), and Mandy Suggs (Tony).  There is a host of extended family that also survives him.  Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Boyd and Elizabeth Edwards, and by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth Walker and Judy Cannon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with a private burial service following.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 at the funeral home, located at 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
