ROUND O :     Mrs. Joyce Marie Simpson Franklin, wife of Norman Franklin, passed away at her home Wednesday, May 20, 2020 under hospice care, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 57.

Joyce was born in Atlanta, GA March 28, 1963 a daughter of Carol Bratcher Simpson and the late Wesley Gene Simpson.  She was a homemaker, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a true Christian woman.

In addition to her mother and her husband, she is survived by her children:  Norman (Tonya), Shannon Moore (Kyle), Isaac (Brandy), Joseph, and Andrew (Jessica).  She leaves behind her siblings:  Pat, Wesley, Steven, Angela, and Judy Simpson.  There are twelve grandchildren:  Marcus, Faith, Brianna, Ethan, Brayden, Kinsley, Cameron, Micah, Hayley, Mark, Joyce and Caden.  Joyce was preceded in death by her father, her brother Mark Simpson, and her aunt Ali Appleby.

Graveside funeral services will be held privately at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
