WALTERBORO:     Mrs. Beatrice Barton "Judy" Roberts, wife of the late James Moody "Bubba" Roberts, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023 under hospice care with her family by her side.  She was 70.

Judy was born in Colleton County November 8, 1952 a daughter of the late Jack and Gladys Broderick Barton.  She was a member of Bedon Baptist Church, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Judy had a wonderful personality, and she made everyone she knew…and everyone she met…feel loved and special.

She is survived by her children, Anthony "Tony" Roberts (Michelle) and Sherry Roberts Seigler (Paul) all of Walterboro.  She has four grandchildren:  Breleigh, Hunter, Hayden and Holden Roberts.  She leaves behind her siblings Jack, James and Peggy Barton.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Live Oak Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home, located at 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
