Keith L. Gwynn passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home after a brief illness.  He was 57.

Keith was born in Hampton County February 23, 1966 a son of Judith Smith Whiteley, and the late Harold Whiteley.  He had a Masters Degree in Nursing, and had been a Registered Nurse for 29 Years, with a focus on elderly care.  His hobbies included international travel and European history.  He had a "green thumb" and loved spending time in the outdoors.

In addition to his mother Judy, Keith is survived by his children Matthew Gwynn (Alexis) and Lindsay Grooms (Bobby).  There are two grandchildren, Parker and Jasper Gwynn.  Keith is also survived by his sister Tammy Moore, by his nieces April Wyndham (Ryan), Veronica Rivera (Manuel), and Lauren Moore, by his great-niece Sophia Rivera, and by his great nephew Manuel Rivera Jr.

A memorial service for Keith will be held Saturday morning, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
