WALTERBORO :     Kim Daniel Drawdy passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 with his daughter Lauren beside him, in a tragic hunting accident in Walterboro.  He was 30.

Kim was born in Charleston August 4, 1989 a son of Grace Hopkins Werts and the late Ben Cleonard Drawdy.  He attended Walterboro High School, and was an experienced construction worker.  Kim's life was always focused on his family, and especially his daughters.  He was a devoted father and son, and his greatest passion was spending time outdoors enjoying the bounty and beauty of God's world through hunting, fishing, camping, riding ATVs, or participating in any activity that placed him outside.  He had a kind heart and always helped those in need.  He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother Grace and his step-father Ricky Snedeker, he is survived by his daughter Kylie Drawdy.  He leaves behind eleven siblings:  His twin brother Kevin Drawdy (Sabrina), Robert Werts, Crystal Tilley, Sean Werts, Rebecca Poland, Roxy DuPree (Larry), Benny Drawdy, Ricky Drawdy, Jimmy Drawdy, Chasity Hiott, and Clinton Hiott.  There are a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his father, and by his sister Sherry Henn.

Funeral services for Kim, as well as for those of his beloved daughter Lauren, will be held Thursday morning, January 9, 2020 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
