WALTERBORO :       Laura B. Crosby Haddock, wife of the late Willie Haddock Jr., passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Pruitt Healthcare Center in Walterboro.  She was 85.

Mrs. Haddock was born October 14, 1932 a daughter of the late Willis and Ruby Lee Jones Crosby.  She retired from the Colleton County Hospital after 32 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department.  She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Walterboro, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children:  Deborah Lee Haddock, Lynn Haddock, and Michael Haddock of Walterboro, and William Haddock of Clinton.  She leaves behind eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her beloved pet Taco.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jim and Jerry Haddock, and by her brother Harold Crosby.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to The Colleton Courtyard, to Pruitt Healthcare Center, and to Justin Orenstein for the care, love and support given to Mrs. Haddock over the last years.

Graveside funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon, April 2, 2018 at 3:00 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 that day at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
