JACKSONBORO: Leroy "Roy" Harley Sr., died May 5, 2015 at his residence in Jacksonboro. He was 69.

Leroy was born September 1, 1945 in Hollywood, SC, a son of the late Alex Zander Harley and Ruth Marie Friendly Harley. He was a retired self-employed painter. Leroy was a hard-working man who loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his children: Leroy Harley Jr. of Mayesville, GA, Edward L. Harley of Lincolnton, GA, and Lisa Marie Harley of Washington, GA. He has one step-daughter, Crystal Corey of Lincolnton, GA and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the White Church Cemetery in Ravenel. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Thursday at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home.
