ATLANTA: It is with great sadness that the family of Linda F. Larson announces her passing on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
Ms. Larson of Atlanta, Georgia is survived by her mother, Leona H. Fennell of Walterboro, South Carolina, her daughter and son-in-law, Laycie and Todd Ewing of Atlanta, and her son and daughter-in-law, Werner Laurin Larson III and Heather Berry Larson of Walterboro. She also has two precious granddaughters, Laurin Elizabeth Ewing and Lilly Larson. Also sadly left behind, is her faithful and loving companion of 24 years, Allen Osborne.
Ms. Larson, originally from Walterboro, graduated from Greenbriar Boarding School in West Virginia in 1965 and then moved to Atlanta to pursue a degree in fashion merchandizing. She had an artistic soul and spent most of her life behind her sewing machine making cloths, teddy bears, ducks, and doll babies. She loved old movies, Westerns in particular, was a prolific reader and had an incredible sense of humor. She made an immense impact on her two children and despite their loss, they will press forward with their lives with courage and confidence because of her unconditional love and never ending support.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday morning, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
