WALTERBORO :     Mrs. Linda C. Wolfe Windham, wife of the late Jackie E. Windham, passed away at her home Saturday evening, February 5, 2022 under hospice care, with her family by her side.  She was 82.

Mrs. Windham was born in Orangeburg, SC October 15, 1939 a daughter of the late Sanford A. Wolfe Sr. and Frances Deaver Wolfe.  She was a graduate of Winthrop College, and served as a teacher's aide for many years in the public school system of Colleton County.  She loved children, and took great satisfaction in seeing them learn and grow.  She and her sister Kathleen were devoted fans of the Gaither Vocal Band, seldom missing a concert within driving distance.

Mrs. Windham is survived by her son, Mike Windham, and by her devoted sister and caregiver of the last sixteen years, Kathleen Wolfe Roach. There is a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Windham was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Windham, and by her siblings Ramelle Wolfe McCloy and Sanford A. Wolfe Jr.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the excellent care given to Mrs. Windham by Amedysis Hospice, and especially to the nurses Heather and Domica.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Walterboro.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
