WALTERBORO :    Mrs. Sabra Delores "Lois" Edwards, wife of James Henry Edwards, passed away Thursday morning, August 5, 2021 at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.  She was 75.

Lois was born in Bainbridge, GA December 20, 1945 a daughter of the late Clarence and Bernice Pope Hayes.  She was a bookkeeper for Southland Inc., and was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Charleston.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her grandsons David and Tyler Thomas, and by her great-grandson Jamie Thomas. She has three siblings: Jerry Hayes, Sharon Howell and Sandra Mays.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa E. Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00.
