WALTERBORO :     Louie A. Whidden Jr. passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Trident Medical Center in Charleston after a brief illness.  He was 54.

Louie was born in Beaufort, SC February 7, 1968 a son of Mildred Nettles Whidden and the late Louie A. Whidden Sr.  He was a service advisor for a Heavy Equipment Company, and was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks.  Louie was a devoted son and brother, but the greatest love of his life was his daughter Madison.  The happiness she gave him throughout the years was truly immeasurable.

In addition to his mother Mildred, and his daughter "Madi", he is survived by his siblings Michael Varnadoe (Lib), Frankie Varnadoe (Cindi) and Sherrie White (Jimmy).  There is a host of extended family, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday afternoon, July 26, 2022 at 2:00 at Bedon Baptist Church.    The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church sanctuary.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
