WALTERBORO:     Mrs. Patsy Lynn Crosby, beloved wife of Paul P. Crosby, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, May 2, 2026 at her home in Walterboro, under hospice care, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was 71.

Lynn was born in Bamberg, SC November 30, 1954 a daughter of the late Monnie and Louise Strobel Craven.  For many years she was a dedicated employee of Bamberg Manufacturing, and was also a caregiver.  In recent years Lynn was a familiar face at the cafeteria of Forest Hills Elementary, where she greeted the children with hugs and smiles.  Lynn was an excellent cook and seamstress, and she enjoyed shopping, puzzles and word searches.  Her favorite times were spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by her daughter Tammy G. Zirk, by her grandchildren Morgan Nettles (Trey), Sierra Zirk (Kerry), and Jason Zirk Jr. (Lexi), and by her great-grandson, Creed Nettles.  She leaves behind her sister Ethel C. Erwin (Hubert), a special nephew she considered a son,  Glen Earl Craven Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Frankie Craven, Carol C. Mixson, and Glen Earl Craven, and by her nephews Hubie Erwin and Kevin Mixson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, May 5, 2026 at 11:00  in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in the Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 at the funeral home.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro, is in charge of arrangements.
