COTTAGEVILLE:     Mrs. Margaret M. Hoff (89) of Cottageville, passed away on Sunday evening June 23, 2024 at Hallmark Healthcare Center in Summerville.

Margaret was born in Colleton County September 23, 1934 a daughter of the late Clifton M. Muckenfuss and the late India Rhode Muckenfuss.  She was a longtime member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cottageville.  She was a true Christian and had a strong love for the Lord.  She deeply loved attending church and was passionate about sharing God's word.  She loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her son Timothy A. Hoff, along with three brothers and one sister.

Surviving are her husband of 71 loving years, Mr. Harold P. Hoff, her daughter Nell H. Worden (Hank Worden) of Cottageville, along with five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren whom she adored.

The family would like to give a heartwarmed thanks to Ms. Shirley Salley as well as Edisto Home Care and Hospice for their kindness and help with her care for the past several months.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024 at 10:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial following in the Jordan Cemetery near Cottageville.  The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 at the funeral home located at 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.
