Obituary

COTTAGEVILLE :     Mrs. Mary Louise Daniels Cromer, wife of Ernest Cromer, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, June 22, 2018 at her home in Cottageville.  She was 71.

Mrs. Cromer was born in Los Angeles, CA June 16, 1947 a daughter of the late Lyle and Evelyn Knowsky Daniels.  She was a retired real estate agent, and was an active parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Walterboro, where she was a Eucharist Minister, was a member of the women's club, was involved with the friendship breakfast committee, and was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.  She loved spending time outdoors with her flowers, and she enjoyed sewing and cooking.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Patrick Donart (Andrea), of Texas, and Michelle D. Jaco (Mike) of Illinois.  There are three step-children:  Robert Glenn Cromer, of Pelzer, Bertram Clark Cromer (Sheila) of Duncan, and Suzanne C. Brown, of Easley.  Mrs. Cromer has a brother, Edward Daniels (Jeanette) of Oregon, and two sisters, Linda Daigle (Charles) of Texas, and Rita Ivie (Brian) of Florida.  There are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Rosary service, with Vigil following, will begin at 6:00 Monday, June 25, 2018 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018 at 10:00 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rite of Committal being conducted at 1:00 at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home of Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
